Our goal here at MD Poly is to provide the customer with high quality custom made cast Polyurethane parts with fast turnaround.
We use the best raw materials, and with over 40 yrs of Polyurethane Processing experience and being family owned, we can keep overhead low, to effectively keep pricing low, providing the customer with High Quality Polyurethane parts made with quality material and workmanship, at minimum cost.

A large part of our business belongs to the Automotive Engine Die Cast industry, supplying Several thousand Leak Test Seals yearly, for Pressure and Vacuum testing of Engine Castings.

But we can do any other type of Custom Urethane parts as well, such as Bushings, Rollers, Wheels, Bumpers, Grommets, Grippers, Sheets, Rods, Bars etc.
How Our Polyurethanes Can Save You Money
While the initial cost of a Polyurethane part may be a little more than a rubber or UHMW part, its superior properties in abrasion, compression, cut/tear resistance, flexibility, allows it to outlast other materials up to 5 times longer. Saving your company the cost for down time and the amount of spare parts for that application that you need to keep in stock. Polyurethane also possesses sound deadening, water and chemical resistant properties that may be beneficial to your manufacturing processes.

Our Polyurethanes can be made in varying hardness from 30A (soft) to 75D (very hard)
Coloring

And although polyurethane can be colored to virtually any color, We have found that 7 basic colors can fit most applications. Black, Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Yellow and Green are our standard colors. But Custom colors can also be done as well. Due to UV and Oxidation, some colors may darken over time.
​Bonding to Substrates

Polyurethane can be permanently bonded to other materials, all metals and some plastics.
The surface is prepped by cleaning, grit blasting and applying a special designed bonding material. This bonding (glue) forms a mechanical bond to the grit blasted material and a chemical bond with the urethane. This forms a Chemical / Mechanical bond of such strength, that the urethane will fail before the bond will.
